My crossbow broke on day one of a 7 day hunt. I took it to Winks on Day 2, November 10th. They told me it needed a new string and new cams. They called Bowtech about the cams and told me I would have it two days later- 3 days at the most. This was a huge relief as I'd still be able to hunt on my week long hunting trip. I thanked them and left. I got my bow back December 1st, almost a month later! I missed all of my hunt and all of the rut for 2017. In all that time, Winks staff never once called, texted or e-mailed. It was dead silence from them. Every few days I'd call back and hear that it was almost done, that someone else (never them) had messed up again causing further delay. When I got my bow back- in three pieces- two of the screws seemed to have been lost and replaced with whatever they had laying around. I'm not 100% sure of this, maybe they were missing before- but I doubt it given how disorganized they seem to be. Putting a pair of $60 cams (retail cost) and a new string ended up costing me $220! They will never do any work for myself or any of my friends again.
Wink's saved my day again. I needed a hard to find bullet caliber. I've never found 7-30 Walters in any hunting shop. They had it in stock. I've been in a jam many time with my bow aND they have always got me back into the woods. Best ship in Md. Thank you Wink's
