Please take into consideration these issues before you decide to move here.
Great housing
Rent includes "High speed internet" but the internet is so slow, students can not download their power points or go on the school website without it taking up to 30 mins.
This is an OK place to live.
-It says there is high speed internet, but there is not. Everyone had to purchase wifi extenders because the internet is so slow. We tried to communicate this issue with the staff however, they did not seem to want to resolve the issue; and they have yet to resolve the issue (it has been 4 months). So if you plan to move here make sure you purchase a wifi extender.
3 to 4 years old, off campus three floor walk up.
-There is something wrong with the water here. It is yellow when it comes out of the faucet. --the staff doesn't seem concerned and they won't do anything about it. From what I've heard, other residents that have complained about it but nothing has been done.
They have nice rooms with easy to clean tile floors everywhere (which can by kind of annoying when it's cold).
-There is a community lounge that is supposed to be available to residents, meanwhile they changed the code and you can't get in without a reservation. So if you want to watch a TV show on Sunday night, you're out of luck unless you remembered the week before, while they are in the office, to reserve the room.
It's not dirty. They have a gym... try to live on the top floor, so you don't have to be distributed by your neighbors.
-They limit the air conditioning to 77F, you can't go lower than that.
The washer and dryer are really nice and super convenient. There is a dishwasher too!
It's very close to campus.
There is a microwave built in above the stove, so that's nice.
-The walls are very thin. I can hear people above me (I am on the first floor). I can hear people in the hallway on the other side of the building. Sound is amplified in this place.
But there are plenty of things wrong...
